The plant microbiome hosts diverse endophytic bacteria that enhance plant growth and provide biocontrol benefits. Brucella sp. PM1, isolated from pomegranate, was analyzed through whole-genome sequencing to uncover its plant growth-promoting traits (PGPTs).Genomic insights revealed genes linked to nutrient cycling, phytohormone production, and stress tolerance, positioning PM1 as a promising candidate for biofertilizer or biocontrol applications in sustainable agriculture.
