Assymetric shear-margin weakening undermines the buttressing strength of Pine Island Ice Shelf

This repository contains the MATLAB scripts (.m), MATLAB live scripts (.mlx), Python scripts (.py) and processed MATLAB data files (.mat) used in the analysis presented in the Pine Island Ice Shelf study. The codes were developed to process and analyse satellite-derived and model-based datasets to investigate the spatio-temporal evolution of ice-shelf dynamics and buttressing strength. The repository includes scripts for data processing, analysis, and figure generation, along with the associated data files required to reproduce the study's main results. The materials provided here are intended to support transparency and reproducibility of the research. Due to the size and licensing restrictions of some original datasets, only the processed data products necessary to reproduce the analysis are included.
