PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: products, such as paper and paperboard products, comprising a substrate containing cellulose and top ply comprising microfibrillated cellulose and inorganic particulates; and methods of making such paper and paperboard products. SOLUTION: The microfibrillated cellulose and inorganic particulate material are applied at the stage when the wet substrate is in the process of being formed on the wire of a papermaking machine, thereby avoiding additional costs of more extensive equipment and machinery as well as separate drying of a coating. The microfibrillated cellulose facilitates the application of the inorganic particulates onto a surface of a wet paper or paperboard substrate when applied, and makes the composite suitable for printing and other end-use demands by trapping the inorganic particulates on the surface of the substrate and by giving the composite a sufficient strength and a suitable pore structure. 要解决的技术问题:提供包含纤维素基材及表层含微纤化纤维素(microfibrillated cellulose)与无机颗粒的纸及纸板制品等产品,同时提供制备此类纸与纸板制品的方法。技术方案:将微纤化纤维素与无机颗粒材料在湿基材于造纸机网部成型的过程中进行施涂,由此规避使用更复杂设备与机械产生的额外成本,同时免去单独干燥涂层的成本。微纤化纤维素可在施涂阶段助力将无机颗粒附着于湿纸或纸板基材的表面,并通过将无机颗粒截留于基材表面、为复合材料赋予足够强度与适宜孔隙结构,使该复合材料适配印刷及其他终端使用需求。附图说明:图2
