Replication Data for: Towards quantified wave current interactions over the Agulhas Current system

This dataset was generated in order to investigate wave-current interactions experiment data in the Agulhas Current along the East Coast of South Africa. The output of each experiment is in MATLAB .mat files and includes significant wave height (hs), peak period (tp), mean direction (dirm), datetime and datestring arrays. Corresponding lat long grids for both experimental setups (normal grid and high-res grid) can also be found. Details of how the data was generated can be found in the related publication.

本数据集专为研究南非东海岸厄加勒斯海流（Agulhas Current）中的波流相互作用实验数据而构建。各实验的输出结果以MATLAB .mat格式文件存储，包含有效波高（significant wave height, hs）、峰值周期（peak period, tp）、平均波向（mean direction, dirm）、datetime数组及datestring数组。此外还提供了两种实验配置对应的经纬度网格（常规网格与高分辨率网格）。该数据集的生成细节可查阅相关学术出版物。
