The ROPOS Navigation 01 was deployed on 2010-05-08 on ROPOS. This Remotely Operated Vehicle is operated by Canadian Scientific Submersible Facility (CSSF). This device is a Navigation System. Navigational instruments are used to measure and record positional information of ships, buoys, and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). Typical sensors include latitude, longitude, speed, heading, pitch, roll, and depth. It was deployed on a mobile platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.

ROPOS导航01数据集于2010年5月8日部署于ROPOS平台。该遥控无人潜水器(Remotely Operated Vehicle,ROV)由加拿大科学潜水器设施(Canadian Scientific Submersible Facility,CSSF)负责运营。本数据集对应的装置为一套导航系统,其配套导航仪器可测量并记录船舶、浮标及自主水下航行器(Autonomous Underwater Vehicles,AUVs)的位置信息,典型传感器参数涵盖纬度、经度、速度、航向、俯仰、横滚及深度数据。该导航系统搭载于移动平台之上。本次部署产生的全部数据已完成归档,并通过加拿大海洋网络(Ocean Networks Canada)的Oceans 3.0数字基础设施对外共享,其质量管控流程与衍生数据产品均遵循行业既定规范。
