This dataset is the statistical table of area and stock volume of natural forest resources from the 8th National First-Class Forest Inventory. It covers statistics of natural forest area, arbor forest area and its corresponding stock volume, economic forest area, bamboo forest area, shrub forest area, area of enclosed non-stocked afforestation land, sparse forest land area and its corresponding stock volume across 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government of China.
