WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from SEA-LAND PACIFIC, PARIZEAU and other platforms from 1987-09-01 to 1992-04-10 (NODC Accession 9200133)

This accession contains 14 sets of data collected as part of Shipboard Environmental data Acquisition System (SEAS) III program. The cruises were conducted using 10 different ships. The bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected between September 1, 1987 and April 10, 1992. The data was sent from the cruise ships to the National Ocean Service, Rockville, MD via telecommunication. This data is currently available in the C116 file format of NODC.

本入藏数据集包含14组数据，均为船载环境数据采集系统（Shipboard Environmental Data Acquisition System，SEAS）III计划的采集成果。本次数据采集航次由10艘不同船舶执行。抛弃式温深计（expendable bathythermograph，XBT）数据的采集时段为1987年9月1日至1992年4月10日。上述数据通过电信传输方式从作业船舶发送至位于马里兰州罗克维尔的美国国家海洋服务中心。当前该数据集以国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center，NODC）的C116文件格式对外提供。
