Conodont oxygen isotopes were used to reconstruct an 18-million-year-long paleotemperature curve for mid-low latitude regions during the Late Triassic. The dataset shows that Late Triassic seawater temperatures fluctuated dramatically between 28°C and 35°C, supporting the view that the Late Triassic was generally a greenhouse climate period.
