收藏资源简介:
The dataset, Raw Data_Personality Traits and Psychological Stress Among College Students: The Roles of Psychological Resilience and Thinking Styles, was collected from 986 college students across three comprehensive universities in China between October 15 and November 28, 2025. Data were gathered through the online survey platform Wenjuanxing (www.wjx.cn). After screening for missing data and invalid response patterns, 986 valid questionnaires were retained from 1,156 collected questionnaires. The study aimed to examine the associations between Big Five personality traits and psychological stress, as well as the mediating and sequential mediating roles of psychological resilience and thinking styles. The dataset includes self-reported measures of Big Five personality traits (Big Five Inventory, 44 items), psychological resilience (CD-RISC-10, 10 items), thinking styles (Rational–Experiential Inventory, 10 items), and psychological stress (PSS-14, 14 items), together with demographic variables including gender, age group, and grade level. All scales demonstrated good internal consistency in this sample (Cronbach’s α ranging from 0.891 to 0.932). This dataset may support further research on personality, psychological resilience, cognitive processing, and psychological stress among college students. Participation was entirely voluntary and informed consent was obtained before questionnaire completion.
