This dataset is the result of a quantitative and qualitative meta-analysis of higher education research published in 18 top-tier journals between 1991-2011. One hundred and thirty-one published papers met the conditions of: peer-reviewed journal articles; research participants are students of higher education; empirical research; articulate a goal of collecting evidence of learning or seeking to confirm that students are learning; learning outcomes as dependent variable. The data is in spreadsheet, SPSS and NVIVO format.
本数据集为1991年至2011年间发表于18种顶级期刊的高等教育研究的定量与定性元分析成果。共计131篇已发表论文符合以下筛选条件:为同行评议期刊论文;研究对象为高等教育阶段学生;属于实证研究;明确以收集学习相关证据或验证学生学习效果为研究目标;以学习成果作为因变量。本数据集采用电子表格、SPSS及NVIVO格式存储。
