Physiology and toxicity data from studies of coral exposed to oil and dispersant, laboratory experiment, November 2012

Shipboard physiological and toxicological studies were conducted using health rating scores on the deep sea corals Callogorgia americana, Leiopathes glaberrima and Paramuricea biscaya with respect to exposure to dispersants and oil contamination. Coral samples were collected at BOEM lease blocks VK826 and AT357, during the R/V Falkor cruise FK006b, November 2012.

本研究针对分散剂与石油污染暴露情形，采用健康评分法，对深海珊瑚美洲美羽珊瑚（Callogorgia americana）、平滑光轴珊瑚（Leiopathes glaberrima）及帕氏柳珊瑚（Paramuricea biscaya）开展了船基生理与毒理学研究。珊瑚样本于2012年11月的‘Falkor’号科考航次FK006b期间，在美国海洋能源管理局（BOEM）租赁区块VK826与AT357海域采集获取。
