Data and code for "Evaluating spaceborne-lidar canopy height maps in three protected areas of southern Nigeria"

Data and code supporting the manuscript “Evaluating spaceborne-lidar canopy height maps in three protected areas of southern Nigeria”. The study trains random forest, gradient boosting and random forest regression kriging models on GEDI L2A rh98 and Sentinel-1/2 and terrain predictors at Old Oyo National Park, Omo Forest Reserve and Okomu National Park. It evaluates them with random, orbit-wise, spatial-block and other-site schemes, builds 30 m maps with 90% conformal intervals, and compares the maps with the ETH, Potapov and Meta/WRI global canopy height maps and with ICESat-2 ATL08 heights. The record holds the extracted GEDI data, site boundaries, 30 m maps, result tables, figures and analysis scripts. See README.md for contents.
