Textkorpus TSK. Forschungsprojekt

The TSK corpus comprises 585 texts written by 39 pupils in German. The texts originate from a longitudinal study on the development of textual competence in primary school age conducted at the University of Siegen. Two classes were used to determine how children's ability to write texts develops in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades within the context of different communicative demands (text types): narrative, report, instructional, descriptive, and argumentative. The survey period was between the years 2001 and 2003.
