The data lists the membership composition of the committee that comprises\nindependent and internal members. \n \nThe Portfolio Audit Committee was established to comply with the Standing\nDirections of the Minister for Finance under the Financial Management Act\n1994.\n\n \nThe committee is responsible to the Secretary to oversee governance and to\nprovide advice on audit, risk management and business assurance activities\nacross the education and early childhood development portfolio. \n \nThe portfolio focus includes the Department and statutory authorities\nprimarily funded through the Department, namely:\n\n \n• Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority \n• Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority.\n\n
