Acoustic water column sonar data was measured during the 2022 International Year of the Salmon High Seas Expedition aboard the F/V Northwest Explorer from April 3 to April 17, 2022. The expedition included 5 vessels which surveyed most of the NE Pacific Ocean to better understand the mechanisms driving salmon distribution and production in the high seas. An ES80 echo sounder was used.

本数据集的声学水柱声呐数据采集于2022年国际鲑鱼年公海考察航次期间，该航次于2022年4月3日至4月17日在F/V西北探索者号（F/V Northwest Explorer）上开展。本次考察共配备5艘科考船，对北太平洋东北部大部分海域进行了勘测，旨在深入阐明驱动公海鲑鱼分布与资源产量的作用机制。数据采集过程中使用了ES80回声测深仪（ES80 echo sounder）。
