Macrofauna taxa data from Spartina alterniflora dominated intertidal salt marshes in Barataria Bay, Louisiana, 2011-2016

Macrofauna were sampled at various locations in Barataria Bay, Louisiana from 2011-2016 from salt marshes that were oiled at different intensities. Oiling categories were classified as reference (no visible oil), lightly, moderately or heavily oiled. Some samples were collected at sites (Short-term Sites) for about 2 years and other samples were collected at sites that were sampled for about 5 years after the spill (Long-term sites). Samples were collected about every 6 mo.

2011年至2016年，研究人员于美国路易斯安那州巴拉塔里亚湾（Barataria Bay）的多处点位，从溢油强度各异的盐沼湿地中采集大型底栖动物（Macrofauna）样本。本次研究将湿地溢油等级划分为四类：参照组（无可见溢油）、轻度溢油、中度溢油及重度溢油。部分样本采集于短期监测样点（Short-term Sites），该类样点的采样周期约为2年；其余样本采集于溢油后采样周期约5年的长期监测样点（Long-term sites）。样本采集频率约为每6个月1次。
