Racial/Ethnic Spatial Context Indicator (RESCI)

This dataset assigns United States counties from 1970-2010 to one of five categories based on a principal component and cluster analysis of 28 variables related to the racial and ethnic context within which individuals identifying as Asian, Black, American Indian/Alaska Native (Native), and/or White. The dataset includes both the RESCI category for each county along with the variables that were used in the principal component and cluster analysis.
