Total RNA was isolated from highly purified Th cells from different time points of the co-cultures (RNeasy, QIA- GEN). The RNA samples obtained from 10 independent experiments were pooled. Gene expression levels of over 2x10<sup>4</sup> human RefSeq genes were measured by Ampliseq Human Gene Expression Panel (Thermo Fisher Scientific) on an Ion Torrent next-generation sequencing platform (Ion S5, Thermo Fisher Scientific).
