This dataset includes the 2007 records of average precipitation and its seasonal proportions across four seasons in Shapotou, as well as winter precipitation, spring precipitation, summer precipitation, autumn precipitation, and total annual precipitation, within the desertification dataset for Shapotou, Ningxia. The Shapotou, Ningxia desertification dataset primarily covers the following attribute contents: monthly average sunshine duration and sunshine percentage in Shapotou; monthly average air temperature and annual temperature range; average precipitation and its seasonal proportions across four seasons in Shapotou; first and last frost dates in the Shapotou region; surface soils of each soil genus in the fixed aeolian sandy soils of Shapotou; comparative analyses of physical and chemical properties among various subtypes or soil genera of Shapotou's aeolian sandy soils; major forest resources and sand-fixing afforestation plants in Shapotou; natural vegetation type system in Shapotou; water quality monitoring and evaluation result tables for the Shapotou section of the mainstream Yellow River; habitat changes of sand dunes stabilized by artificial vegetation across different decades in the Shapotou study area; and physical and chemical properties of shallow surface soils in the Shapotou research zone.
