In the waiting room, South Africa East, [s.d.]

„Im Wartezimmer des Missionsarztes, der alle Erkältungen, Magen- und Hautkrankheiten, Knochenbrüche und Schnittwunden heilt“ („In the waiting room of the mission doctor, who is healing all cold, gastric and skin diseases, bone fractures and cuts“). Next to her three women sitting, wearing long draperies, headdresses, bangles and necklaces. A bit behind at the entrance a young man in a jacket, leaning on a stick. Next to him other people sitting and one woman standing.; Wilhelm Friedrich Karl Blohm, born in 1884 in Keffenbrinck (Germany), was a carpenter. In 1911 he married Marie Bürger. He started his missionary work in 1911 in Unyamwezi (East Africa). After being imprisoned by the Belgians from 1916 till 1917 he returned to Germany. From 1922 till 1945 he worked as a missionary in Baziya (South Africa). He died in Baziya in 1945.
