资源简介:
The dataset contains the research data generated during the development of the multi-frame hologram batched optimization (MFHBO/MFHO) computer-generated holography (CGH) method. The two existing methods are one-step phase-retrieval (OSPR) and adaptive one-step phase-retrieval (AD-OSPR). This dataset contains the multi-frame holograms generated using all three methods, and their reconstruction captured by a Cannon EOS 1000D camera. Files with filename starting with "Target" are the target images we created to test the CGH algorithms. All other files start with the abbreviation of the corresponding CGH method (MFHO, OSPR or AD-OSPR). In the filenames, following the CGH method, is the name of the target image. There are four targets being used: "holography_ambigram", "Mandrill", "ABCD" and "real-life_target". The "holography_ambigram" is a rotational symmetric ambigram we designed to test binary phase holographic projections; the "Mandrill" target is commonly used in holography research; the "ABCD" is a 4-slice target containing letters "A", "B", "C", "D" at each slice; the "real-life_target" is a set of 3 photos taken in real life for different focal distances. Files with filename containing "freeman_holo" (case insensitive) are multi-frame binary phase holograms that were generated using the corresponding CGH algorithm and subsequently tested on the holographic projector. They are encoded in such a way that, each bit plane is a frame of binary phase hologram, therefore 3 channels with 8 bit depth give 24 bit planes in total, corresponding to 24 frames of time multiplexed binary phase holograms. All holograms are default to have 24 frames unless the filename says otherwise (such as "8frames"). The numbers of frames are all integer factors of 24 (i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12) so that they can fit in the 8 bit depth data structure by repeating themselves (for example, a 3-frame hologram repeats 8 times to fit in the 24-bit file). Files with filename "recon_captured" are reconstructions of the holograms captured by the camera of model Cannon EOS 1000D, for use to compare the reconstruction quality of the proposed MFHO method against the existing OSPR and AD-OSPR methods.
