资源简介:
These full-scale tests were carried out to investigate the linear and nonlinear behavior of shipping container during axial impact cases. An ISO shipping container measuring 6.0 m long, 2.4 m wide, and 2.6 m high was used. The impact and rebound velocities were determined by using laser displacement sensors. The container was instrumented with 24 strain gauges. The data from all instrumentation (i.e. load cells, strain gauges, and laser displacement sensors) were recorded at 50 kHz. There were two phases to this experiment.
- Phase1 involved linear and nonlinear axial impact of the empty shipping container. The undamaged and damaged shipping container was tested during different cases of multi-corner impact.
- Phase2 involved linear axial impact of the loaded shipping container. Two cases of loading were considered: concrete panels and water bladder.
