Aerial sea surface temperature (SST) data during LAgrangian Submesoscale ExpeRiment (LASER)

A Parthanavia P86 dual-engine aircraft based in Gulf Shores, Alabama carried a Heitronics KT19II radiometer measuring sea surface temperature (SST) during the LAgrangian Submesoscale ExpeRiment (LASER). These data were collected to correct for a sensor drift of an uncooled FLIR A655sc long-wave infrared (LWIR) camera that was used to make maps of SST during the same flight. Flights occurred between February 6-11, 2016. This dataset consists of airplane tracks with corresponding GPS time, Longitude, Latitude, Altitude, Roll, Pitch, Heading, and SST.
