In 2023, the amount of synthetic drugs seized by the police in Japan amounted to 170 thousand tablets, recorded the highest amount of synthetic drugs in the surveyed period. The figure increased significantly, more than doubled, compared to around 74.8 thousand tablets in the previous year.
