Active enhancer elements of human vascular endothelial cells

Endothelial cells configure the most inner layer of vasculature and serve as lining in the whole body. Their phenotypes, physiological function and gene expression pattern are regulated by developmental signals and outer stimuli. Here, we conducted profiling epigenome states of 7 types of human vascular epithelial cells from 20 tissues by integrating various genome-wide analyses for histone modifications, DNA methylation and gene expression.
