This repository provides the data, scripts to generate and plot this data for Boer et al. (2025). For questions, help and notifications surrounding this repository please contact Iris Boer. Framework This study makes use of the PROTEUS framework, derived from Lichtenberg et al. (2021) and expanded by Nicholls et al. (2024); Nicholls et al. (2024). The following modules are incorporated: CALLIOPE: Models outgassing processes to calculate surface volatile partial pressures following methodologies from Bower et al. (2022) and Shorttle et al. (2024). JANUS: A predefined atmosphere model of convective planetary atmospheres (Graham et al. 2021, 2022) that computes atmospheric temperature and radiative fluxes based on surface volatile partial pressures. Data Contents Jupyter Notebook Boer+25_notebook.ipynb: Generates the figures presented in the paper. Data files (.csv, .txt): Contain raw tabular data and comparison data used in the analysis. Figures (.pdf): Figures presented in the paper. Python script (Boer+25_script.py): Perform calculations using the above mentioned components of the PROTEUS framework, which couples atmospheric and interior models for rocky planet evolution. This script is used to obtain the raw data that is used for the analysis.  Python script (Data_extraction.py): Extracts relevant data from raw tabular data files for analysis. README file (README.md): Provides dataset details and usage instructions This raw data files contain (calculated) atmospheric properties including: Outgoing long-wave radiation (OLR), atmospheric composition (vol_partial), T-P profile (atm_moist_tmpl , atm_moist_pl) based on the initial input parameters: surface temperature (T_surf), Outgassing temperature (T_outgas), Hydrogen abundance (Hydrogen), C/H ratio (CH_ratio), redox state (fO2_shift), Nitrogen abundance (Nitrogen), Manlte mass (mantle_mass), Mantle melt fraction (mantle_melt_fraction) which are also stored in the data files.
