AIHW - Medicare Benefits Schedule Statistics - Number of GP Attendances in Aged-care Homes (PHN) 2013-2017

This dataset presents the footprint of the number of general practitioner (GP) attendances in residential aged-care facilities per patient who received at least one GP attendance in a facility. This has been calculated with the total services from eligible claims (not including any bulk-billed incentive items or other top-up items), divided by the count of patients where the sum of GP attendances in residential aged-care facilities is greater than or equal to 1. The data spans the financial years of 2013-2017 and is aggregated to 2015 Department of Health Primary Health Network (PHN) areas, based on the 2011 Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS).\n\nThe data is sourced from the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) claims data, which are administered by the Australian Government Department of Health. 本数据集统计了住宿式老年护理机构（residential aged-care facilities）内，曾至少接受过1次全科医生（General Practitioner，简称GP）就诊的患者的人均全科医生就诊次数。该指标的计算方式为：符合条件的申报单总服务量（不含批量计费激励项目及其他增补项目），除以该机构内全科医生就诊总次数≥1的患者总数。数据覆盖2013至2017财年，并依据2011年澳大利亚统计地理标准（Australian Statistical Geography Standard，简称ASGS），聚合至2015年澳大利亚卫生部门（Australian Government Department of Health）初级卫生网络（Primary Health Network，简称PHN）辖区。

本数据集源自澳大利亚卫生部门管理的医疗保险福利计划（Medicare Benefits Schedule，简称MBS）申报数据。该申报数据来源于符合1973年《健康保险法》规定、可申领医疗保险福利的服务相关行政信息，且此类申报均由澳大利亚人类服务部（Department of Human Services）完成处理。

* 住宿式老年护理机构内的全科医生就诊仅指在该类机构内为患者提供的全科医生诊疗服务。
