Gene database of Fructilactobacillus sanfranciscensis strain LS451

<i>Fructilactobacillus sanfranciscensis</i> is a heterofermentative lactic acid bacteria that through the production of lactic acid and acetic acid, gave bread its characteristic taste. This work provides the gene database of <i>F. sanfranciscensis</i> after parsing the annotated genome sequence of the bacterium via an in-house MATLAB genome analysis software. Comprising gene name, gene function, and gene sequence, the gene database of <i>F. sanfranciscensis</i> would aid in understanding the metabolism of the bacterium, and its unique role in synthesizing a rich palette of metabolites that lend characteristic taste to bread.
