UTIP-UNIDO dataset

The UTIP-Unido dataset is part of the Inequality Project of the University of Texas (UTIP), that focuses on measuring and explaining movements of inequality in wages and earnings and patterns of industrial change around the world. The UTIP-UNIDO data calculate measures of industrial pay inequality and are based on United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) data. The UTIP-UNIDO dataset provides a wage inequality Theil measure for 151 countries worldwide for the period 1963-2015.UTIP-UNIDO数据集隶属于得克萨斯大学不平等项目（University of Texas Inequality Project, UTIP），该项目专注于测算并阐释全球范围内工资与收入不平等的动态变化，以及产业变革的模式。UTIP-UNIDO数据集以联合国工业发展组织（United Nations Industrial Development Organization, UNIDO）的统计数据为基础，计算得到产业层面的工资不平等相关指标。该数据集为全球151个国家提供了1963年至2015年区间内的工资不平等泰尔指数（Theil measure）。
