植被覆盖度(Fractional Vegetation Coverage,FVC)定义为植被(包括叶、茎、枝)在地面的垂直投影面积占统计区总面积的百分比,是衡量地表植被状况的一个重要指标。利用NDVI数据集,基于不同气候类型、不同土地和植被类型的NDVI到FVC转换系数,采用像元二分模型生产2012年一带一路及其毗邻地区1km/5天FVC产品数据集(MuSyQ-FVC-1km-2012)。利用甘肃黑河流域和河北怀来地面观测数据对MuSyQ FVC产品进行直接验证,决定系数0.821,标准偏差0.078;此外,与基于SPOT-VEGETATION数据生成的GEOV1 FCOVER产品进行交叉验证,MuSyQ FVC产品在时空连续性方面均优于GEOV1 FCOVER产品。该数据共包括73个数据文件包,总计16727个数据文件,数据采用Sinusoidal投影,存储格式为 .tif ,数据量为44.92 GB(压缩后的数据量为8.12 GB)。

Fractional Vegetation Coverage (FVC) is defined as the percentage of the total area of a statistical region occupied by the vertical projected area of vegetation (including leaves, stems, and branches) on the ground, and it is a key indicator for assessing surface vegetation conditions. Using the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) dataset, combined with NDVI-to-FVC conversion coefficients tailored to different climate types, land cover types, and vegetation types, the 1km/5-day FVC product dataset (MuSyQ-FVC-1km-2012) for the Belt and Road region and its adjacent areas in 2012 was generated using the dimidiate pixel model. The MuSyQ FVC product was directly validated using in-situ observation data from the Heihe River Basin in Gansu Province and Huailai County in Hebei Province, yielding a coefficient of determination of 0.821 and a standard deviation of 0.078. Additionally, cross-validation was conducted against the GEOV1 FCOVER product generated from SPOT-VEGETATION data, and the MuSyQ FVC product outperformed the GEOV1 FCOVER product in terms of spatiotemporal continuity. This dataset includes a total of 73 data file packages, amounting to 16,727 individual data files. It adopts the Sinusoidal projection, with a storage format of .tif. The uncompressed data volume is 44.92 GB, while the compressed data volume is 8.12 GB.
