According to a survey on internet usage behavior of middle-aged and elderly people in China conducted in June 2021, about 27.5 percent of respondents stated that they didn't know how to use apps on their smartphones. Almost 20 percent of respondents agreed on the difficulty in reading the font clearly when using mobile apps, yet another 17.6 percent failed to seek help when problems arose in the process.
