Site Photographs and GIS Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at the Proposed Site of Studley Solar Farm, Atworth, Wiltshire, November 2021

This collection comprises the site photographs and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation carried out by Cotswold Archaeology at the proposed site of Studley Solar Farm, Atworth, Wiltshire in November 2021. A total of 27 trenches were excavated. Two ditches and two pits were recorded in the east of the site, one of which contained material dating to the 2nd to 4th Century AD. Further artefactual material dating from the Roman period, including one coin, was recovered from the associated topsoil horizon.
