AI Accommodation Artifacts

This artifact preserves primary source documents related to an early request to use generative artificial intelligence (AI) as a disability accommodation in doctoral education. The collection includes medical documentation supporting AI as a cognitive scaffold for documented memory impairment, institutional responses to the accommodation request, and accessibility determinations issued during a period in which higher education policies regarding generative AI were still emerging. These materials are preserved as historical and educational records documenting the intersection of disability accommodation, academic integrity, and generative AI during the early adoption of large language models in higher education.
