本数据集利用Landsat ETM+传感器在2000年前后拍摄的遥感影像图，拼接生成覆盖全球陆地范围的影像产品。在影像合成工作中，采用一系列的图像增强技术，最终产品以 7，4，2波段假彩色合成后显示，空间分辨率达到14.25米，涵盖了大量地物细节信息。产品数据格式为MrSID格式。
This dataset is constructed from remote sensing imagery acquired by the Landsat ETM+ sensor circa 2000, and the imagery is mosaicked to produce an image product covering the entire global land area. A series of image enhancement techniques were employed during the image synthesis workflow. The final product is displayed via a false-color composite of bands 7, 4, and 2, with a spatial resolution of 14.25 meters, and encompasses rich detailed information regarding ground features. The data format of the product is MrSID.
