Measurement data of hysteresis and backfield of IRM of gel-capsular sediment samples from Levinson-Lessing Lake and related hysteresis parameter

The dataset contains measurement data files from 119 gel capsule samples prepared from freeze-dried sediment of core Co1401 from the Levinson Lessing. The measurements of the hysteresis and the backfield of the IRM were performed with a Lakeshore VSM model 8604 at the University of Cologne (Germany). They were used to determine the hysteresis parameters presented here, and depicted and discussed in the associated publication on the mineral magnetic characterization of core Co1401.
