Mapping of regions that are systematically under-replicated in metaphase and establishing the role of CDK-inhibition in accomplishing DNA-replication in these regions, S. cerevisiae (2017-09-15)

We establish that subtelomeric regions together with some other functional elements like transposons are consistently under-replicated in metaphase. Inhibition of CDK activity, in fact, results in accomplishing of DNA replication in those regions.本研究证实，亚端粒区域（subtelomeric regions）与转座子（transposons）等其他功能元件在有丝分裂中期（metaphase）始终存在复制不足的现象。事实上，抑制细胞周期蛋白依赖性激酶（Cyclin-dependent kinase, CDK）的活性，可促使这些区域完成DNA复制。
