全球陆表特征参量产品-叶面积指数LAI_modis_500m（2002年）为2002年的空间分辨率为500m且覆盖全球陆表的叶面积指数（leaf area index）产品，数据产品的版本号为V60。叶面积指数（LAI）为单位地表面积上单面绿叶面积的总和.相关文件包括HDF和XML两个文件，其中数据实体存储在HDF文件中，产品的元数据信息存储在HDF和XML文件中。
The Global Land Surface Characteristic Parameter Product - Leaf Area Index LAI_modis_500m is a 2002 leaf area index product with a spatial resolution of 500 meters covering global land surfaces, and its product version number is V60. Leaf Area Index (LAI) refers to the total area of one-sided green leaves per unit land surface area. The relevant files include two formats: HDF and XML files. The actual dataset is stored in the HDF file, while the product's metadata information is stored in both the HDF and XML files.
