GenomeTrakr umbrella for SARS-CoV-2 wastewater data. wastewater metagenome

This umbrella links a set of data BioProjects, each established by a laboratory sequencing SARS-CoV-2 from wastewater samples.This is a pandemic-response effort, supported by funding from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to develop and implement SARS-CoV-2 variant surveillance in wastewater through the existing GenomeTrakr laboratory infrastructure. Data collected from this project will be used to monitor potential interruptions in the food supply chain and increase the safety of food production workers. These data can also be used to inform vaccine development and help provide FDA-CBER with real-time information for their review of vaccine applications and modifications.
