本数据记录了白桦中横纹全部抗压(无径、弦向）的序号、记录本序号、试样序号、试样宽度、试样长度、受压面积、试验时含水率、极限荷载比例、试验时比例极限应力、含水率15%时比例极限应力等记录。木材物理力学的各项测定指标，直接反映此种木材的强度等特性，为木材利用和木结构的规范等提供科学数据。本数据库包括物理力学数据和其试验方法（请参看附件1中华人民共和国国家标准GB1927～1943-91《木材物理力学性质试验方法》，附件2木材物理力学各个项目的定义）。

This dataset records various pieces of information for total transverse compressive strength tests (without distinguishing between radial and tangential directions) on Betula platyphylla, including the test serial number, serial number of the test log, specimen serial number, specimen width, specimen length, compressive area, moisture content during testing, ultimate load ratio, proportional limit stress at the time of testing, and proportional limit stress at 15% moisture content, among other related data. Various measured indicators of wood physical and mechanical properties directly reflect the strength and other mechanical characteristics of this birch species, providing scientific data for wood utilization and the development of timber structure codes. This database contains both physical and mechanical property data and the corresponding test methods (please refer to Appendix 1: National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB 1927–1943-91 "Test Methods for Physical and Mechanical Properties of Wood", and Appendix 2: Definitions of each item for wood physical and mechanical properties).
