Unfixed Vital Micrococci Generated Microscopic Images Dataset Description

This dataset contains 100,000 microscopy images of unfixed vital micrococci with corresponding binary segmentation masks. The dataset is intended for training, validation, and benchmarking of computer vision models for microscopic image analysis.Each image has a paired binary mask that marks the microorganism foreground region. The dataset can be used for segmentation, image classification, and object detection tasks involving micrococci-like microscopic objects. Dataset structure The dataset consists of two folders:images/ — microscopy images in PNG format.masks/ — corresponding binary segmentation masks in PNG format. Each image and mask pair has the same filename.In the masks, white pixels with value 255 represent the microorganism foreground, while black pixels with value 0 represent the background.
