IMOS SOOP Underway Data from AIMS Vessel RV Solander Trip 6393 From 19 Jan 2016 To 29 Jan 2016

'Ships of Opportunity' (SOOP) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the SOOP sub-facility 'Sensors on Tropical Research Vessels' aboard the RV Solander Trip 6393.\n\nInstrumentation was deployed for measuring Seawater Intake Temperature at 1.9m on trip 6393 from 19 Jan 2016 through to 29 Jan 2016, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a SBE 38 remote temperature sensor manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 38. \n\nInstrumentation was deployed for measuring Salinity at 1.9m on trip 6393 from 19 Jan 2016 through to 29 Jan 2016, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a SBE 21 conductivity cell manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 21. \n\nInstrumentation was deployed for measuring Turbidity at 1.9m on trip 6393 from 19 Jan 2016 through to 29 Jan 2016, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT. \n\nInstrumentation was deployed for measuring Fluorescence at 1.9m on trip 6393 from 19 Jan 2016 through to 29 Jan 2016, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT.

“机遇船（Ships of Opportunity，SOOP）”是澳大利亚综合海洋观测系统（Integrated Marine Observing System，IMOS）项目的下设设施。本数据集由SOOP子设施“热带研究船传感器”在索兰德号（RV Solander）第6393航次上采集完成。

本次航次于2016年1月19日至29日期间，在索兰德号上1.9米深度处布设了用于测量海水取水口温度的观测仪器，所用传感器为海鸟电子有限公司（Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc.）生产的SBE 38型远程温度传感器（SBE 38 remote temperature sensor），型号为SBE 38。

本次航次于同期同深度布设了用于测量盐度的观测仪器，安装位置同样位于索兰德号上，所用传感器为海鸟电子有限公司（Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc.）生产的SBE 21型电导率传感器，型号为SBE 21。

本次航次于同期同深度布设了用于测量浊度的观测仪器，安装位置位于索兰德号上，所用传感器为Wetlabs公司生产的FLNTU-RT型光学传感器（FLNTU-RT Optical sensor，可同时测量浊度与荧光），型号为FLNTU-RT。
