Data from optical-tweezers-based force spectroscopy measurements of mutant ZIKV xrRNA molecules unfolding and refolding, as well as gel-based measurements of RNase resistance of the same mutants. Force-extension curve data are listed in .xls files titled according to the mutation. In each file, data are presented as paired columns of force ("F", values listed in pN) and extension ("Ext", values listed in nm) data for sequential unfolding and refolding measurements (refolding data indicated by "_r" in column titles). The remainder of the column name indicates the molecule number (1, 2,...), followed by an underscore and the set of curves measured from that molecules (1, 2,...), followed by an underscore and the number of the pull within that set (1, 2,...). Each set of pulls is organized in a separate sheet in the file. Gel images are shown in the PDF file, with the values for RNase resistance calculated from them listed in the associated .xls file.
