Long-Term Chinese Milk Vetch Returning Alter Soil Properties, Microbial Community Composition and Function in Paddy soil

The application of green manure is considered a sustainable management approach to improve soil quality in agricultural production. However, few studies have focused on the effects of soil properties and microbial community structure and function when varied green manure rates are applied in rice cropping systems. We examined the soil and microbial properties in paddy soil response to four fertilization treatments: chemical fertilizer , Chinese milk vetch application at various rates in a seven-year field experiment.
