The mangrove cricket, Apteronemobius asahinai, is an endemic species of mangrove forest floors. This cricket shows a circatidal rhythm in its locomotor activity, with a period of approximately 12.6 h. Little is known about the molecular mechanisms underlying the circatidal rhythm. We presented the draft genome of the mangrove cricket to facilitate future molecular studies. We predicted 28,831 protein-coding genes. We annotated predicted genes via a BLASTP search against the UniProtKB/SwissProt Database and via a search of the Pfam database using InterProScan.<br>

红树林蟋蟀(Apteronemobius asahinai)是红树林林下地表特有的特有物种。该蟋蟀的运动活动表现出周期约12.6小时的潮汐节律(circatidal rhythm),目前对于该潮汐节律背后的分子机制尚不清楚。本研究报道了红树林蟋蟀的基因组草图,以助力后续相关分子研究。研究共预测得到28831个蛋白质编码基因,并通过针对UniProtKB/SwissProt数据库的BLASTP比对搜索,以及借助InterProScan对Pfam数据库的检索,完成了预测基因的功能注释。
