Images and Site Records from Archaeological Monitoring and Recording at The Mill, Meavy, Yelverton, Devon, June-August 2017

This collection comprises images and site records from archaeological monitoring and recording at The Mill, Meavy, Yelverton, Devon. This work was undertaken by South West Archaeology Ltd. between June and August 2017. The archaeological monitoring identified 25 features dating to the post-medieval and modern periods. They reflect at least three phases of mill construction and water management. The earliest phase perhaps dates to the 17th century and the latest phase dates to the 19th century. A fourth phase relates to the conversion of the last mill into a dwelling from the mid-20th century onwards.
