Computer vision based animal welfare relevant indicators from the slaughter line of an Austrian slaughterhouse

In the scope of the EU Horizon project aWISH, we developed several computer vision based algorithms to assess animal based indicators in pigs at the slaughter line. Three algorithms were suggsesfully developed: tail length (cm), electro prod (yes/no) and number of tattoos; in addition the data sets also contains results from the algorithm tail necrosis (yes/no) and ear necrosis (yes/no). The data set is a merge of meat and carcass classifiaction data (pH value, lean meat content %, net slaughter weight warm (kg), SEUROP classification grade) and also contains the offical veterinarian complaint. Data originated from 6 farms, between March 2026 and Septmeber 2026
