Sequencing of novel RNA viruses from Perinereis. Perinereis

In this study, meta-transcriptome sequencing technology was used to construct 6 Rawdata, generating 260,513,087 reads, and assembled them de novo in two species, Perinereis aibuhitensis and Perinereis wilsoni. Twelve new RNA viruses were identified. The results of this study revealed the diversity of Sarnaviridae, provided new evidence for Sarnaviridae, expanded the RNA virome, and enriched the host range of Picobirnaviridae, Marnaviridae, and Bunyvirales. This study provides a theoretical basis for potential biosecurity threats from novel viruses carried by lugworms used as live feed in aquaculture.
