NRS-19568 | Shelter admission and discharge register [Endeavour House, Tamworth]

This series records admissions and discharges from the remand shelter attached to Endeavour House at Tamworth. The shelter accommodated residents of both sexes, of all ages from infants to adults, and also occasionally persons visiting residents of Endeavour House who did not have any accommodation. Operating procedures for the shelter are provided in NRS 19614 Practices and procedures manual [Endeavour House, Tamworth].The register is in the format of double page entries, arranged chronologically by date of admission, with admissions on the left page and discharges on the facing page. Each line records the details of an individual resident, so their admission and discharge details are on the same line across the double page.Details recorded include date of admission, name, age, religion, from whom received, address, remarks, date of discharge, to whom discharged, address, how placed, and remarks.
