It integrates scientific observation data, specimen samples and instrument and equipment resources from the Antarctic and Arctic regions. The data center hosts data from multiple research stations including the Great Wall Station, Zhongshan Station, Yellow River Station, as well as professional facilities such as gene banks and specimen museums. It is committed to promoting open sharing of polar scientific data and supporting research on polar environment and climate change.
