WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from WADDELL in the TOGA Area - Pacific from 1990-11-01 to 1990-11-28 (NODC Accession 9000292)

The data in this accession was collected during one month period from TOGA Area-Pacific (30 N to 30 S) using ship Waddell between November 1-28, 1990. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Twenty eight stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and is present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.

本次收录数据集采集于1990年11月1日至28日，为期一个月，由“瓦德尔号”科考船在热带海洋与全球大气（TOGA）太平洋区域（北纬30°至南纬30°）完成采集。美国海军（US Navy）通过带状记录纸带记录了投弃式温深仪（Expendable Bathythermograph，XBT）测得的不同深度海水温度实时数据。共向国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center，NODC）提交了28份带状记录纸带与无线电日志。上述带状记录纸带上的XBT数据已完成数字化处理，目前以C116文件格式存储于当前NODC数据存储系统中。
